2024 AIM Physician and Investigator Conference

May 18 – 19, 2024 – Boston, Massachusetts

Call for Posters

A poster session will be taking place as part of the AIM Physician and Investigator Conference on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.  The poster session provides a forum for investigators to share their work related to Mast Cell Diseases.

The AIM poster session is a forum for presentation of research findings in mast cell disease and should include at least some original new data not previously presented at a national or international meeting. Accepted abstracts will be considered for oral presentation.

All posters will be shared digitally with virtual guests.  Poster presenters who attend virtually will not present during the poster session, but may be contacted via email by guests for further discussion.

Selection of abstracts for oral vs. poster presentation by young investigators/trainees will be made by the Scientific Program Committee. The committee will also identify up to ten physicians-in-training, each with a travel grant of up to $500 plus 2-night hotel stay for U.S. physicians and/or physicians-in-training, and $1,500 grants plus 3-night hotel stay for international awardees. Individuals will be selected (electronic, blinded process) for travel grants based on the merit of their scientific abstracts, quality and relevance to AIM’s core missions, and considerations of inclusiveness. Specifically, we will award one or more travel grants to under-represented minorities (URM).  Travel grants apply only to guests attending in-person.  All travel arrangements must be made through the AIM travel agency; all expenses will be paid directly by AIM.

The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register for the conference. Accepted abstracts will be posted on the AIM web site.

After the abstract submission deadline, abstracts may not be revised or resubmitted.

Deadline for submission: February 29th, 2024.  Notification of acceptance: Mid-March.
